CONNECT-A-SENIOR TECHNOLOGY PROGRAM
Connect-a-Senior is a program of the I Did Something Good Today Foundation, offered in partnership with human-I-T, that helps older adults access affordable technology and internet connectivity so they can stay connected, informed, and engaged.
For many seniors, technology is more than just a convenience; it is a lifeline. Access to a computer, tablet, or reliable internet connection can make it easier to connect with family and friends, attend virtual appointments, participate in online communities, access important services, and maintain independence.
Through our partnership with human-I-T, eligible seniors may be connected to free or low-cost internet options and affordable digital devices, including laptops, tablets, and desktop computers. In some cases, the Foundation may be able to provide additional assistance to Los Angeles County seniors when funding is available.
Our goal is simple: to reduce social isolation by helping seniors build meaningful connections through technology. Whether it's joining a Zoom call with loved ones, participating in a Facebook group, accessing community resources, or learning new digital skills, Connect-a-Senior helps open the door to a more connected world.
