I Did Something Good Today is so excited to team up with the one and only Nautica de la Cruz to air Nostalgic Radio, a new internet radio station featuring classic Nautica De La Cruz programming which spans across thirty years. With many public studies highlighting the power of music in healthcare, Nostalgic Radio will walk you down memory lane with playing old-time radio shows, Big Band and music spanning from the 1940s to the 1970s. Catch unforgettable shows like 5 Minute Mysteries, CBS Mystery Radio Theater, Dragnet, Lux Radio, Suspense, and Twilight Zone.

Ambassador for Nostalgic Radio is midday radio Queen, Nautica De La Cruz, who holds a special place in her heart for the senior community. You may not know, but prior to her career in radio, Nautica worked for a convalescent home and says she misses the connections she made with its residents.

Nautica’s vibrant humor and energy entertains her listeners on 102.3FM KJLH, radio station owned by legend Stevie Wonder, in her signature segment the ‘The Nauti News’. Never afraid to try something new and take chances for good causes, Nautica will host a show on Nostalgic Radio called “Golden Conversations”, featuring interviews with seniors who share their unique and beautiful stories. Nostalgic Radio can be streamed on any mobile device or smart speaker. Upcoming soon are donations of Amazon Echo devices to seniors so they can listen in with ease.

I Did Something Good Today is incredibly proud to pair up with such a powerhouse as Nautica to bring Nostalgic Radio to the forefront of all its senior listeners. The I Did Something Good Today staff dedicates their time to helping the senior population and succeeds off the hard work of volunteers who deliver food, hotline call services and coaching to senior citizens who need assistance across many aspects of their daily life. Our LA-based nonprofit is supported by a robust network of organizations that help promote the great work we do including but not limited to ONEGeneration, Telzio and Giving Tuesday.

If you, or someone you know, is interested in helping the senior population through volunteer work or donations, please visit the I Did Something Good Today website or follow us on social media: Twitter, Facebook, Instagram or YouTube.
